What I wish was different
I wish the scheduling would have been a little different being that we were understaffed at times.
Advice
One piece of advice is to not let anyone get to you emotionally and just keep at the hard work! You'll be able to do it in your sleep by no time.

July 2018 • Hopkins, MN
What I liked
Teamwork and customer connection. Communication improvement/efficiency, and learning how to make some of the things I enjoy.
What I wish was different
Corporate can be kind of a sore thumb from time to time depending on your location (but there are still plenty of benefits). A more noticeable effort to extinguish the problem of plastics big and small beyond only complying with laws specific to a region that a shop might be in (regarding compostable products).
Advice
It's a good part-time thing, but still requires a lot of effort. Depending on the location, the effort you have to put in will vary, but locations that offer numerous ordering opportunities for customers have the most effort. Don't go in expecting easy work.
