I wish it wasn’t so busy and standing for 8 hours a day is rough on your body.
Advice
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and have fun with it! Being a barista is tough work but it is a really fun job.

The people are sometimes rude, and I feel like at times I didn't have a lot to do.
Advice
Don't work at a licensed store, they don't have any type of benefits- no free coffee or anything. Make sure ou work at a corporate store, the benefits are AMAZING!

This job has taught me to always be prepared. When I first got hired I observed what everybody did and I was able to complete tasks they given me within two weeks of no help from anyone.
