The people I worked with were truly wonderful! It was a great experience to have and something to do after returning early from my study abroad.

Just give it a shot. If you are unsure about getting the job or whether you are qualified, just give it a shot. What is the worst that could happen? You’ll be surprised how interested employers are in who you are over what you have done.

Human Resources Team Member
April 2018 • Edina, MN
What I liked
I enjoyed the fact that I got to have a inside look into the world of Human Resources. This job gave me the necessary tools to jump-start my career as a Human Resources professional. I specifically enjoyed working with the team members to solve various problems including payroll and technology issues.
What I wish was different
Although this job is great to gain HR experience, I wish this role would have given me a look into corporate HR in a more professional setting.
Advice
Do not go into this role expecting to know anything. It is a steep learning curve. Do not be overwhelmed; it takes a lot of time and dedication to learn and know the processes and systems. I am still learning new things, even after being there for four months.
