What I liked

My favorite part about working at Target was the people I worked with. They were so friendly and willing to answer my questions when I first started. My bosses were also incredibly helpful and very friendly. The whole working environment was just very inviting.

What I wish was different

I wish I had started working there sooner than I did. In hindsight, I could've had this great job throughout high school as well.

Advice

Advice I would give about this experience is that you have to be open to stepping out of your comfort zone and you also have to learn to be patient, especially when it comes to helping the guests that shop.

Fast paced work environment left something for you to do, many departments and opportunities to move around within the company.

What I wish was different

Management was a garbage fire, There would be many times you would get different tasks from different department managers and be expected to hold them all in the highest priority.

Advice

Working at target is great if you are a worker capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment with no prior job experience.
