The internship was very structured, and we were able to rank the teams that we wanted to be on for our internship. There was also a mid-point check-in and a final check-in with your manager to communicate feedback and expectations.

What I liked
I really liked the intern culture that Microsoft provided and Microsoft is also known for its intern events. From team-building activities to even concerts, they ensure that the interns not only work hard but also have a memorable summer.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more resources in terms of starting the project. Although everyone is helpful and wants to help you I feel like if there were resources to refer to that were established from the beginning it would be useful.
Advice
Microsoft is a vast company with professionals from various domains. Take the time to connect with people outside of your immediate team. Attend networking events, set up coffee chats, and participate in team activities.
