If you're a Human Resources major, what skills have developed that employers find valuable?
I have really developed interpersonal skills, organization, the ability to notice a problem and come up with a solution to fix it, excel spreadsheet work, and honestly so much more. I learn so much on a daily basis I am constantly growing in my knowledge of the industry and myself.
How can I project my Human Resource's degree to prospective employers?
Marketing your degree is best done through networking activities through LinkedIn or local social groups. Volunteering often turns into opportunities through connections made.
To what degree of ownership do you have at Oracle?
During my time I found that some work was autonomous, but due to the nature of the job there was very little independent judgement warranted nor process development/improvement.
