What I liked

It allows for an increase in human communication skills, working with mathematics, and gives more responsibility as you move up. I ran the self checkouts, helped wherever I was needed, and was a great Cashier. With school they worked with my schedule and also this job is pretty easy.

What I wish was different

I did not prefer some of the management but part of having a job is learning to work with people of higher power even if yo sometimes disagree with them.

Advice

If you work at Meijer try to always make the customers happy. You need the customers to have a job! It is a hard thing to forget sometimes, but it is the most important aspect of the job.

What I wish was different

I would have liked to be able to access my availability from home. There were also times when I did not have a schedule posted until the day before the new week began. The website that employees use needs to be updated.
