My Team Leader was involved more in the beginning for when I was getting trained, other than that I'm not complaining.

What I liked
I liked how fairly peaceful the store was during third-shift hours; I liked the people I worked with; I liked being able to work without being constantly supervised; and I liked being able to pace myself by taking my breaks and lunch whenever I wanted.
What I wish was different
I wish I had learned the store better so I'd be able to help customers more often without having to ask another employee.
Advice
Be ready to help--both stockers and especially customers--and be prepared to do some slightly heavy lifting from time to time.

What I liked
This internship experience was a great introduction to a big, fast-paced work environment and I was able to learn from many excellent professionals over a variety of departments.
What I wish was different
You are given a mentor and a first assistant (boss), my mentor was amazing and I learned so much from her, but I wish that my first assistant would have been more hands-on.
Advice
Bring your A-game. Most of the other interns are from Ivy League schools or Big Ten business schools, so the competition is stiff.
