I wish there were more people on the team because we were often short staffed and overwhelmingly busy.

One piece of advice is to have good time management with this job. You have to keep track of your priorities to get everything that needs to be done done.

Retail Associate

What I liked

The managers were very helpful in training and answering any questions that I had. Everyone working there had great teamwork and made me feel like I belonged even when I had just started.

What I wish was different

I wish the managers had more frequent communication with the retail associates.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions or to take initiative if you see something that needs to get done.

Store Associate Rx

What I liked

The team I work with is amazing, and it makes me want to work harder. There are many regulars coming to the front store and pharmacy. The demographic is diverse, and I get to meet a variety of people. The hours are extremely flexible with school as well.

What I wish was different

The store manager was relocated, which made things a tad uneasy for both the team and the customers.

Advice

Working at CVS requires consistency. There is a routine and a set amount of responsibilities whether you are working front store or pharmacy. There are also "homework" modules with due dates to complete.
