What I liked
Management was very professional and accommodating, you got the opportunity to learn a lot of things around the store. They are very willing to work with flexible hours, and with the carepass program you have the opportunity to earn extra money.
What I wish was different
This particular location was extremely crowded due to its proximity to the beach, so at times it could be overwhelmingly busy. That's something you come to expect working anywhere in the shore area, though.
Advice
Honestly, the hardest part was learning where everything was located in the store. I recommend walking around the store any chance you get, especially in the beginning,

I liked working with patients and their family members. I enjoy helping people especially the elderly, the community has a large elderly population and it was nice to be able to assist those who needed my help.
What I wish was different
It is such a busy place, there are a lot of customers coming through and so you are limited in time and I wished that I could have given more attention to some of the customers that came asking for help. it is so busy there isn't enough time to do that.
Advice
figure out and know what you like to do for a carrier once you have that figured out the rest will be easy.

What I wish was different
I don't think anything could have been different but also considering I have for for CVS over a year now nothing has changed in terms of my experience with the job.
Advice
If you want to work for CVS you have to be able to be hard-working, fast-paced, and patient otherwise you'll find yourself flustered in an environment that could be easily stressful if you are not prepared.

What I liked
Interacting with different types of patients and learning from each one of them. Everyone has a different personality, and even those who aren’t as happy can teach you a lot.
What I wish was different
I wish it hadn’t had been so stressful. With better management a job will be so much easier. I wish scheduling would’ve been more flexible as well.
Advice
It’s a terrible job based on management and how much they expect from one person. Besides that, a great job to learn about different disorders/diseases and what drug treats each one of them. This has came in really handy with some of my classes.
