It was and is a good job. I like having on on campus job while I am going to school

This job isn't a perfect match for my major, but it has helped me defined my career path. I would recommend not closing doors to jobs because its not exactly what you are looking for

What I liked
The opportunity to lead and guide new employees as they reached out to incoming students. I also enjoyed the data tracking/analysis that I did to help improve efficiency for the program.
What I wish was different
Free breakfasts would have been nice.
Advice
Working with and mentoring new students is incredibly rewarding. Coming to college can be a traumatic or confusing experience and I would recommend that whoever works as an amabassdor put forth as much effort as possible for their success.

Helping other students and being able to know what they are worth and the potential that they have to succeed in college

I wish I had more time to connect with each student more closely to enhance the quality of the communication we have had

Be yourself, don't pretend to be someone else and most importantly stay professional.
