Western Nebraska Pioneers Baseball Club

About Western Nebraska Pioneers Baseball Club

The Western Nebraska Pioneers are one of seven charter members of the Independence League, a summer collegiate wood-bat league playing in Nebraska, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Pioneers play at Oregon Trail Park Stadium, a 1,200-seat venue in Gering, Nebraska. Our business model is that of a minor league baseball team - family entertainment, large crowds and a lot of moving pieces. Our interns are an essential part of the show!

The Pioneers have led our league in attendance in all four years of our existence and plan to keep that streak alive in 2022. We are looking for people who want to learn and progress in their careers - if you're looking for a great summer experience with a tremendous group of people, join us!
