I appreciated having plenty of freedom to take my project in any direction I see fit. I also received many opportunities to connect with other employees within the company as well as a "buddy" who acted as an informal mentor.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more guidance towards the end of my internship in terms of producing a final presentation.
Advice
Make sure to ask your supervisor what their goals are for you, and devise your own goals. I suggest arranging weekly feedback meetings (as I otherwise would receive very little feedback). During these meetings you and your supervisor can revisit goals.

What I liked
I love the culture of the company. The collaborative effort in the firm is strong and has helped motivate me throughout the summer. The work challenges me and the people I work with are intelligent and amiable. I learnt a great deal from this internship.
What I wish was different
I wish that the onboarding procedure was smoother.
Advice
Time management is critical and setting a strict personal deadline is helpful. It is dangerous to think that you can turn your game on whenever you want. You should be at your best at all times.
