Alert definitely focuses on facilitating intern skillsets in the time they are working there. As a coop here, I've learned the product design lifecycle process and learned several skill sets ranging from GD&T training, Creo Parametric CAD, Windchill, machining, and Propel. I enjoyed the one-on-one time I have with my leads and the speedy direct communication with my teammates. The scrum project management style was effective in providing me with new and dynamic tasks for me to take on while addressing any blockers quickly and effectively. Overall, my time at Alert was great and the mentorship I've received was invaluable.

Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions or step outside your bubble in areas you're not familiar with. Alert provides everyone an opportunity to grow!

What I liked
Honestly, it has been an awesome experience so far. First, the general feel of the culture at Alert is that of motivation and excitement about the product and the goals. The job itself is very interesting; it is exciting to see what has been accomplished so far, and know that you are contributing towards an impactful and innovative goal. Also, there is a lot of growth opportunity since there is always something new to learn or dive deeper into. In terms of the people, my personal perception of the people here is outstanding. Everybody I have met has been super friendly, engaging, and smart. This has added so much to the positive experience at Alert.

What I liked
It's been a perfect entry-level role so far. I've been able to intern with the creative team and I'm learning a lot of great things. I like how the team supports one another, like if I have a problem or a question, they told me don't never hesitate to reach out. They are always willing to assist. The company has great people they are are super kind and welcoming I appreciate each and every one of them. It has encouraged me to embrace a team spirit that I think has been really helpful to me personally. I hope to continue working with them in future.

What I liked
Alert Innovation is a great place to work if you want to be at the forefront of technology. The company is full of smart, creative, and kind people who are always willing to work together and help out when needed (especially for us interns). Employees are vision-driven and detail-oriented, all while having lots of fun and enjoying their work. Management trusts the people they hire and gives them freedom and flexibility to get the job done. I had a great experience working there over the summer.
