I/O Team Mechanical Engineer Coop

June 2022 - December 2022 Andover, MA
“Alert definitely focuses on facilitating intern skillsets in the time they are working there. As a coop here, I've learned the product design lifecycle process and learned several skill sets ranging from GD&T training, Creo Parametric CAD, Windchill, machining, and Propel. I enjoyed the one-on-one time I have with my leads and the speedy direct communication with my teammates. The scrum project management style was effective in providing me with new and dynamic tasks for me to take on while addressing any blockers quickly and effectively. Overall, my time at Alert was great and the mentorship I've received was invaluable. ”

“Honestly, it has been an awesome experience so far. First, the general feel of the culture at Alert is that of motivation and excitement about the product and the goals. The job itself is very interesting; it is exciting to see what has been accomplished so far, and know that you are contributing towards an impactful and innovative goal. Also, there is a lot of growth opportunity since there is always something new to learn or dive deeper into. In terms of the people, my personal perception of the people here is outstanding. Everybody I have met has been super friendly, engaging, and smart. This has added so much to the positive experience at Alert.”
