What I liked

I loved that my team was very flexible. My team allowed me to dabble in multiple different areas to gain better knowledge in student affairs. I was able to meet with the directors of multiple different departments and gain better knowledge of what they do on a day-to-day basis. I loved being able to work as a graduate residence coordinator, while being an undergraduate student back at my home institution.

What I wish was different

I wish we would have been able to tackle more items in June. This would of allowed for the month of July to be more relaxed.

Advice

Enjoy your free time and don't over work. The office of Residential Education allows you a great amount of free time to explore New York City. Take this and run with it. Once you get busy, it doesn't slow down until your final day. Always remember to breathe. You will experience difficult situations, but it will help you grow further in your career.
