What I liked

The work culture at VNDLY is second to none. The employees here are so welcoming and friendly. There is always someone around to help an intern get through the initial stages of work. The software developed and used is very amazing. Even in these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, VNDLY was fully prepared and took care of its interns by providing them with flexible work option such as working from home. The services division of VNDLY is one of the best division to work in at the company. My team is very fun to work with and help me along whenever I need them. I got to learn a lot about the product and industry from experienced people. Everyone is easily approachable. Frequent interactions with the team through review calls, 1 to 1 meetings with our manager, and the happy hours we have make VNDLY one of the best growing start-ups and a great opportunity for students to learn. I've enjoyed every bit of my work as a Product Engineer intern so far and hope to continue working with the company in the near future. Looking at the way VNDLY is making its mark in the VMS industry , I would definitely would recommend people to work at VNDLY.

Software Engineer Intern

What I liked

As an intern with no prior experience, I had a lot of questions so what I love the most about working at VNDLY is that everyone is so enthusiastic and willing to help each other. I had many one-to-one sessions with other developers to walk through my code, discuss ticket requirements or to evaluate different approaches to a problem. During my internship, I was given complex problems involving both back-end and front-end work, which helps sharpen my skills and broaden my knowledge of web development. I also had the chance to meet with the founders of the company, which is a great networking opportunity. I received a lot of support and encouragement from other people at VNDLY. Overall, this internship is a great learning experience for me.

Product Manager Intern

What I liked

Working as a Product Manager to come up with Analytics solutions not only kept me busy and sane during the pandemic but also was an incredibly rich learning experience which helped me refine my ways of looking at problems both at a bird’s eye as well as a worm’s eye level. What could otherwise have been chaotic is a surprisingly well-oiled machine and also one amongst the many reasons VNDLY has picked up fresh rounds of funding and a bunch of Fortune 500 clients for every semester I was in school. Kudos to the founders Shashank Saxena and Narayana Surabhi for setting the culture right! I wish VNDLY Inc. continued success for years to come!

Professional Services Intern

What I liked

Getting to see both of my majors at work! Having a seat at the table to witness VNDLY's growth over the last 2 years was everything and more that I could have wanted to experience in a startup culture. Everything I learned in the classroom about Entrepreneurship was played out as we grew and I was able to apply this knowledge to my understanding of Venture Capital investments, scaling an organization, and the sales to implementation cycle. I was able to take on multiple responsibilities and roles from Sales and Marketing work to client Implementations and Product design. My interest in information systems and software has only doubled as I've been able to experience how the agile development cycle works in real time. My understanding of this from my MIS classes has grown exponentially through my client implementation experience from gathering requirements to testing and delivery of the product. I have always felt very supported in my internship and now full time role by our driven team. I feel that our incredible culture is a result of the energy and focus on mission that each team mate brings to the company. There is always an expert to answer your questions, support your learning, and challenge your growth. It's very rewarding to see your contributions impact the rapid growth of the company which is just one reason I have continued with VNDLY in a full time role.

Take advantage of the brilliant minds that make up our team! Ask questions and seek opportunities to challenge yourself to learn more about areas of the product or industry you aren't familiar with. There will always be a team mate more than willing to help you learn and push you to succeed

What I liked

At VNDLY, we get to experience a truly agile, collaborative and user-centered approach to building software. People here are extremely passionate about doing what is right not what is easy. This being my first product management stint, has provided me a great exposure towards all the different aspects of the role. Leaders at VNDLY are very transparent, approachable and do an excellent job in keeping us aligned with the company / product vision. The work culture is flexible and trusts you to get the job done. Despite being an intern, I feel valued by my team as they respect the unique perspective of every individual. Overall, it has been an amazing learning experience curated by incredible mentors and super-fun colleagues. I couldn't have asked for a better place to resume my career.

What I liked

VNDLY is years ahead in terms of the workplace environment and culture. The company was fully prepared for the suddenly enforced countrywide WFH mandate due to the pandemic. The productivity of the employees wasn't affected and the new hires/interns were smoothly onboarded. My first three months I worked with the team and here are a few things among many worth mentioning: - - Onboarding was seamless with teammates allocating extra time for me over their work - Working with the Sustaining Engineering team gave me an overview of the web app which comprises state-of-art technologies - Frequent 1:1 with teammates and leadership to see if my personal goals are matching with the team/company goals - Flexibility in terms of the work assigned so that I'm able to use my strengths or polish a skill The engineers here at VNDLY are brilliant. You will get to learn every day in an environment where everyone is continually raising the bar on themselves.

What I liked

I never thought I'd be working with a startup and loving every day of my job. Due to COVID, our internships turned remote but VNDLY has been there for us every step of the way. Leadership has also been incredibly proactive throughout my internship and has always looked for ways to support my personal goals. I've never met anyone at VNDLY who I didn't want to be friends with; everyone is so nice and willing to lend a hand whenever you need them. I've had many opportunities in the last three months that I never would have had with a larger corporation. It's hard to describe the feeling of working with a team of passionate individuals to achieve something much bigger than ourselves, but I'd start with "fulfilling."

Information Security, Audit and Compliance Intern

What I liked

From day one, I was assigned with meaningful work and learned more about the company and vendor management industry than I had ever imagined. Every employee is extremely nice and helpful and you really feel like you're a valuable asset to the team from the start. There are all kinds of great learning opportunities which teach you about what each department and team does in the company and how it contributes to VNDLY as a whole. I had the ability to work on many different projects and with this being a startup you get valuable experience in several sectors of VNDLY wearing many hats in the role you are working in. VNDLY is growing at a rapid rate and it is exciting to really notice and be apart of something special.

What I liked

1. I like the actual VNDLY product. It is a one-of-a-kind modern software for corporate companies to hire contractors in simple words. 2. I love the technology stack at VNDLY. It is not a boring Java or .NET. VNDLY uses modern open-source frameworks like python and react. 3. Awesome devs and qa. They pay a lot of attention to detail to make sure only good code goes into the product. 4. Awesome people! 5. Its a rapidly growing startup!
