About United Way of Utah County

United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community to advance the common good.

United Way isn’t about just one thing or one way to solve problems; complex social issues require complex solutions.

Sometimes we start programs in a neighborhood that doesn’t have any. Sometimes we think it’s important to not reinvent the wheel, so we put our efforts toward supporting what already exists.

We partner with dozens of local programs and organizations to help make sure that everyone in our community has access to education, income stability, and healthy lifestyles.

Social Media Intern

January 2021 - April 2021 Provo, UT
“I loved my internship with the Welcome Baby of Utah County program! Everyone in the office is so kind and helpful. I learned a lot and developed so much more confidence. I am currently working with them as an AmeriCorps VISTA until June 2022. You won't regret this internship!”

South Franklin Community Center

January 2020 - April 2020 Provo, UT
“Throughout my internship at the South Franklin Community Center, what I enjoyed the most was connecting with families or individuals from different culture and background. At the Community Center we offered programs that promoted growth, leadership and offer opportunities to children, teenagers and adults. What I loved was seeing volunteers take time off from their day to come to the Community Center to share their talents with our participants. Not only that but during the COVID-19 pandemic many companies reached out with available resources to help families that are in need. It is experiences like this that I was able to feel a sense of love and unity within the Community.”
