What I liked
My time at the Organization for World Peace allowed me conduct journalistic research and writing while maintaining a manageable time commitment.
What I wish was different
It was very unstructured, which can be really positive for some but a challenge to others.
Advice
Take this opportunity to explore news topics you are not familiar with and broaden your academic and intellectual experiences.

Correspondent Intern
October 2019 • Seattle, WA
What I liked
Flexibility in choosing topics that interested me, ability to hone and develop writing and research skills. Although it was a remote internship, we had video meetings with our supervisors and other interns, so we were able to interact and provide our opinions/input about our experience.
What I wish was different
While we did receive periodic feedback, more frequent feedback would be helpful.
Advice
Don’t start your article at the end of the week it’s due.
