I enjoyed the atmosphere of the workplace. Everyone was very kind, and as members of the church, there was no smoking, drinking, or foul language at the workplace. There were also weekly devotionals which were great to have!
What I wish was different
I wish there were more employees hired, since many of us worked overtime. But aside from that, the job was as expected!
Advice
Choose a job environment that you feel comfortable working in. If you plan for this, then you’ll enjoy the job atmosphere a lot more and be more likely / willing to stay!

What I wish was different
I really have no complain, if there is something, I would say I want the contract duration to be shorter.
Advice
I want to share my job seeking experience. I started looking for a job before coming since I've already known job seeking takes more time for international students. I got my handshake account in January, and started to apply for jobs. (3 months before I came in) and had friends who worked in career service center who introduced me to school jobs. He would take me to see the employers and introduced me. I had my resume and cover letter ready. I didn't get a job until the end of July. I want to tell people even though I didn't get my job through handshake, but the career service center helped me a lot in getting this offer. (and the activities on handshake helped a lot too)

For anyone who has recently returned from serving a mission and wants the spirit of their missionary experience to continue, working at the MTC is the best way to do it. You can be involved with missionary work while readjusting to college life, and the people you'll work with are amazing.

What I liked
Great work environment with helpful coworkers. Nice benefits and opportunities to learn more.
What I wish was different
I'd hoped to have more of a mentor to walk me through new tasks. There was a lot of learning on my own, which is good but difficult when working with new software and sensitive material.
Advice
I recommend studying as much as possible on one's own time. Take advantage of time and resources given for free like Lynda.

I loved the opportunity to see the inner-workings of the church’s charitable operations. Working with senior missionaries and local department managers gave me professional work experience while providing spiritual uplift ment in the work I contributed to.
What I wish was different
