Consulting Intern

May - June 2019 • Rome, Rome

What I liked

What I wish was different

Advice

Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and don't let your fears run your life! Always be searching for unique and exciting experiences and don't pass them by because before we know it, it will be hard to go and do fun things like this. This is a great program that I would highly recommend to anyone. It developed me professionally but also personally as well by pushing me out of my comfort zone.

Business Consultant Intern

July - August 2019 • Barcelona, Barcelona Province

What I liked

We worked in a startup that was really excited to have us on-site to help them grow their business. The employer and the other fellows were both great to work with. We were also given time to explore the city and other parts of Spain so that was really cool. There were 22 other fellows who I worked with daily. Since we were in a foreign country and didn't know anyone else, we got to know each other and became really close really fast.

What I wish was different

Since I am a planner, I wish we would've gotten more information before we arrived in Barcelona instead of when we got there. It also would have been nice if we all would have arrived a few days before the internship started so we could get over jet-lag and at least meet before the first day on the job.

Advice

Apply for this internship. If you are thinking of studying abroad but don't want to commit to an entire semester, this one-month internship is a great option. I learned a lot about consulting, the work-force, and the Spanish culture.
