I was honored to be named CEO for One Month USA for the summer of 2023!
And it was indeed the highest honor of my life. This program was the most enriching, sharpening, and enlightening experience for my personal and professional growth. I spent my month shadowing top executives and experts in their respective fields while providing insight and ideas.
But most of all, this experience felt like coming home! I found my career family!
What I wish was different
Nothing! I would not change my experience for the world.
Advice
Just go for it! Apply! You never know what might have happened. I applied on a whim, and now I have traveled the company, increased my network by 100x, secured a second internship, and a full-time job for post-graduation!

What I liked
The CEO for One Month program presented a fantastic opportunity to practice essential leadership skills through collaborative pitches, unexpected challenges, and team bonding. At finalist boot camp, I met dozens of senior Adecco Group leaders and learned firsthand about the company's operations and vision for human capital in the 21st century, both in Jacksonville and around the world. It was a privilege to work with nine other finalists whom Adecco had chosen among 27,000 applicants for their ambition, experience, and leadership potential. If you haven't applied yet, what are you waiting for?
What I wish was different
Nothing! The finalist boot camp was fantastic and it was a pleasure and honor to meet Adecco senior executives, learn more about the staffing industry, and meet the other nine finalists this year.
Advice
Don't underestimate your ability and talent. Only ten applicants are selected as finalists, but the application is very brief and it is definitely worth it to apply. Even though I was not selected as CEO for One Month, the boot camp was an excellent experience. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions: first name dot last name @ yale dot edu :)
