Over the ten weeks I worked at Stephen Moser Architect I had the opportunity to work on several residential projects and attend site visits.
The office is small and there is a very intimate working environment. I was able to ask a lot of questions and immediately felt welcome and part of the team. My experience was meaningful and I would recommend this Stephen Moser Architect to anyone who is looking to get insights into aspects of the practice of architecture you don’t normally get to experience at a short term internship. I really appreciated the responsibilities I was given, which allowed me to gain a lot out of my time here. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and felt valued as a team member.

What I liked
The office focused on private residential projects, which allows me to experience every aspects of design, from conceptual to furniture design and selection. It is also very helpful that Steve assigned me a competition project alongside with the long-term residential project. During my time there, I have the opportunity to switch between task-oriented works and idea-driven works. I also developed my revit skills while I was interning at SMA.
