“It is a very hands on internship. Roy, my manager, wasted no time bringing me onto current projects where I had actual things to work on. It was great seeing a markup I made get reviewed by a designer, then sent off to graphics to be made into an actual drawing that was submitted to the contractor! I gained invaluable experience with different pieces of software, each of which have a very specific role in substation design. I also really enjoyed how much Stanley cared about their interns, since they did not cancel their program during the COVID-19 pandemic, but instead migrated it to be remote and even shipped us interns equipment! ”
