The people I worked with were amazing. Very passionate and engaging. I also had the opportunity to watch a product be created from the beginning to end and at every step along the way. I feel like this experience was rare and I was grateful to be a part of the product on the farm, in the ice cream making room, and at events handing the ice cream to customers.
What I wish was different
I worked most weekends of my summer which was a difficult commitment because it didn't line up with the schedules my friends or family.
Advice
Make time for taking care of yourself. Even if you love the job you are working in, it is easy to get overworked and exhausted. If you aren't taking time for yourself you aren't going to be able to do your best work either.
