Flexible hours! You can set up your own schedule, or just pick up orders that are open.

What I wish was different

When you put yourself on the schedule, you receive the first order that pops up, even if it’s a smaller order (make less money) than some that might pop up later.

Advice

It’s what you make it: if you take multiple orders a day and put yourself on the schedule whenever you’re free, you can make a good amount of money per week.

I love my job! I get to meet new people, see beautiful houses, and pet dogs. I love grocery shopping so I get to do something I love and get paid for it.

Advice

Take your time getting started at the beginning. Everyone gets into their own system of doing things. It'll come naturally.

Maybe if the app would do a better job at not allowing customers to add products that are out of stock in the store.

What I liked

I liked being able to choose my own schedule and work independently. It was nice being able to work more some weeks and less other weeks, and being able to receive tips made the time worthwhile.

What I wish was different

Sometimes there were issues with the app which made it difficult to communicate with members, receive tips, etc.

Advice

This job is whatever you make it--put lots of time and effort into it and you will have a good experience and earn good money!

I wish we were reimbursed for mileage as us Shipt Shoppers drive our own cars.

Be extra attentive to make sure customers' orders are as perfect as they can be! Always be nice, smile, and offer to go the extra mile!

What I liked

The flexibility & ability to work whenever I wanted. If I needed a day off, I just wouldn't shop. I was my own boss and I could schedule my own hours. Over time, you built up a list of people who prefer you shop for them, and that allows for repeat business.

What I wish was different

The number of orders during off-peak times, which is typically Monday-Wednesday. If those days had more available order for me to shop, I would have made more money.
