“I learned so much just within my first few weeks at Robin. It's been a really great way to spend my gap year and a big topic of conversation during med school interviews. The company is constantly evolving so my job is pretty different now than it even was just a few months ago, which has honestly been a pro for me since it keeps me on my toes and has taught me how to adapt quickly in a work environment. Management is good about listening/asking for feedback from scribes and being transparent with what's going on within the company which I've also been super appreciative of knowing that I haven't always had that in previous jobs. My day to day as a scribe is basically clocking in, logging into the software Robin uses to help scribes write notes, and working to complete notes and finish my clinic each day. If I finish early or my doctor doesn't have clinic that day, I can hop over to another doctor and help my coworkers which is nice because I know I can always get the hours I want and switch things up to learn from another doctor. There's a Chief that you report to, and my Chief in particular has been supportive and always available for questions. I like that I get to work independently for the most part but there are always people to reach out to if I have questions or need help. ”
