Software Engineer
June - August 2021 • San Diego, CA
What I liked
I liked almost all aspects of this internship. The project work was interesting, and my manager was very involved in making sure I was still enjoying my work throughout the internship. There was also a good work-life balance, and people were very approachable to ask questions.
What I wish was different
I wish there was a better way to build my network with people within Qualcomm. Being a virtual experience, it was hard to interact with interns and individuals outside my team. I would have wanted events that were more involved with having interns interact with each other more directly.

Embedded Systems Software Developer
May - August 2023 • San Diego, CA
What I liked
Very supportive mentors, lots of fun internship events, flexible work schedule.
What I wish was different
On-boarding could have been made easier by more discoverable and more up-to-date technical documentation.
Advice
For an internship, travelling to a company's flagship location is worth it. It's a great opportunity to check out a new location, and there may be more support at their headquarters.
