What I liked

I enjoyed the environment I was put in. The fast-paced nature, but still teaching about how the software development world works was nuce.

What I wish was different

I wish there was a little more attention to teaching specific aspects. Also, with it being a contractor, they have a clearance section and a non-clearance section which made it difficult to ask questions at times and get in contact with advisors.

Advice

Keep asking questions. They know you do not know basically anything and that is ok. They want to help you so that you can produce quality and effective code.

I was working alone. It would have been nice to be a part of a team.

reach outside of your bubble to expand your knowledge and experience. Don't be afraid to fail, as failure is the best teacher.
