What I liked

Serving was a really enjoyable job, especially at the beginning. It was really fun getting to talk to people all day and always being busy (it was always busy during the summer). I worked six days a week so the tips were pretty nice and I actually got to save up a good amount of money over the summer, which usually is kind of hard for me.

What I wish was different

I wish we had a specific end time. Being a server (at olive garden at least) they don't tell you the time you're off, they just let you know when you can leave at the end of the day.

Everyone is very nice and friendly. Managers and co-workers are helpful and willing to work with you. There’s not a lot of side work.

I liked it a lot. It was fairly easy, good pay, good hours, and with fun people.

What I wish was different

I wish my shoes were more comfortable because I was on them all day and they got sore.

Advice

Its actually a stressful job. A lot can be happening at one time and I wasn't prepared for the stress going into it.
