What I liked
My coworkers are amazing and it's a really fun job. Tips are a huge plus and contribute significantly to my compensation when I work.

Manager and coworker turnover has been an on-going issue, but serving is mostly college students so it should be expected as people graduate and find full-time jobs.

Be confident in your ability to be a good server and remember to always smile!

I like the environment I work in, everyone helps each other out and nobody judges. Most everybody gets along, and it's just a comfortable atmosphere.

I sometimes wished management would be different because when I started some of the managers were not very helpful or supportive.
Advice
I was scared to be a waitress because I had never done it before and it didn't seem like me, but I knew it was the only job that would fit with my class schedule, because I could work weekends and nights and make tips. I now actually really enjoy serving and I'm good at it! So, my advice would be to not be afraid to try something new, especially if that's what you have to do to focus on school while still making money.

What I liked
I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant with my co workers and my managers. I also loved serving people their food at the To Go section talking to them and getting to know my regulars as they waited for their food.

Right when you start your job, introduce yourself to every person you meet! It's great to have friends at work. And when there is someone new who starts working after you, do your best to introduce them to people and make them feel at home!
