The flexibility of the position. Coming out of school I was worried about being just put into a cubical at a company and assigned work with no real training. That is not the case at MHC, the MIT program has you shadow every position at one of the MHC dealerships and helps you to understand what everyone does in the company. Being able to work with the Techs all the way up to the branch manger is so refreshing and it has been an awesome experience.
What I wish was different
I wish their had been some more technical materials early on to help understand the dealership industry.
Advice
This isn't the typically job I think most college of business students expect out of school. It is a big learning curve but if you are up for a challenge the job itself is super rewarding and everyone at the end of the day wants the MITs to succeed and helps you out whenever they can.

What I liked
The department was great - it has a climate of care that is super important within a business. I also liked the flexibility they provided me; even though it was an 8-5, I was able to adjust my schedule to 7:30-4:30. What I liked the best was how friendly the whole office was and they accepted me for who I am.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more work to do. There were some days that dragged because I was not needed as much certain days. If there more of a workload, I maybe could have learned more.
Advice
It is really important to speak your opinion. Even though you are considered an intern, your thoughts and opinion matter in this company - they want to hear you and learn from you.
