Mobile County Public Schools is located in the southwestern corner of Alabama on beautiful Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The Board of School Commissioners of Mobile County was established in 1826, making it the first public school system in the state. Today, Mobile County Public Schools has an average enrollment of 53,000 students and employs approximately 7,000 full-time faculty and staff.
