What I liked
What I liked about being a mentor was to share my school and life experience’s with UCR freshman who needed reassurance about their education goals.
What I wish was different
I wish that we were able to meet on campus face to face.
Advice
I would encourage anyone to volunteer their time to make a difference in someone else’s life by encouraging and motivating new students.

Stay on top of the students. Sometimes they forget about meetings so make sure to contact them often.
