The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is a state agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are best known for our parks, parkways as well as recreational facilities and sites. As we prepare for the 2021 season (summer), we are recruiting certified lifeguards and head lifeguards to work at our many pools as well as at our inland and ocean beaches.
DCR manages state parks and oversees more than 450,000 acres throughout Massachusetts. It protects, promotes, and enhances the state’s natural, cultural, and recreational resources.
