You must have an open mind going into this and always assess the situation before. I made the car ride awkward a couple of times because I just started talking. Some people just want a quiet, peaceful car ride. Always play good music as well!

What I liked
I love that I can meet so many people, discover so many new places to visit, and learn about my sorrow sing communities interacting with busy people and helping their lives be a little easier by getting them to their destination on time.
What I wish was different
Some people can make you feel like you work for them or your less than them because you don’t have a job that’s as demanding as them but let me tell you driving isn’t easy especially when you have people to take care of besides yourself.
Advice
I want to let people know this is the perfect job for going to school. I am able to work around my schedule, study for my tests and also be able to produce income if need be. I was very fortunate to experience this whole in college and for those starting out it wouldn’t be a bad time to try it out and start networking.

I was able to choose my own schedule which allowed me to continue to take summer classes.

I wish that I knew where I would be driving prior to picking up the individual.
Advice
Make sure that you always feel safe when picking someone up and if you feel like it isn't a good situation, it is okay to move on and not pick them up.

I wish that Lyft would incorporate a way for customers and riders to form a friendship safely outside of the app. Or that I could have people request me as their driver again.
Advice
It is a great way for quiet people to learn how to have discussions and learn about others. I was reserved when I started and now I enjoy the trips and meeting new people. It is amazing to hear the stories people will tell you in the short amount of time you get with them. Sometimes I wish the trip would keep going just so we could keep talking.

A little more faith in drivers. The company seems to side with riders without question of their comments.

Have a vehicle that gets good mileage to maximize profit. Try to put a small amount away to cover other emergency repairs or expenses.
