What I liked

Kristof inspires and teaches the people he works with. I worked as an intern under his supervision for 12 weeks. We developed my professional talents and abilities and built up my confidence. What made my experience unique was that Kristof was genuinely interested in helping me become the best professional that I could be by bringing out the skills and talents I didn't know I had. He started by helping me change internally in order to really make an impact externally. Kristof is personable, inspirational and fun to work with, which is exactly what you want from a coach or trainer. I'd recommend Kristof if you want a fresh perspective and desire to improve professionally!

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been in Ireland, but remote work was nice while I was doing school! I also wish I could have done more - I did a lot of learning, but I would have loved to work a few more months to really get into working with the business hands-on

Advice

Don't be afraid to stretch boundaries! If you want to grow as a person and professional, this is a great internship. However, keep in mind that your experience in business might be limited due to the remote work. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the experience :)

What I liked

Working with Kristof and Koteve was an incredible step toward not only developing my professional skills but also discovering my professional strengths. My internship experience allowed me to create and execute projects that were tailored to the skills I wanted to learn. Rather than the typical internship of learning by watching, I was able to engage with Kristof in hands-on scenarios. The mentorship aspect allowed me to learn valuable skills to prepare myself for the transition from the classroom to the workplace (such as negotiation, and management and communication styles). Kristof's passion is inspiring for driving creativity in your work and seeking your version of success. I was able to make connections with several professionals locally and globally that felt the same passion. A transformative experience, the Koteve internship community spans globally and is truly a wonderful network to be a part of.

What I liked

Kristof gave me the opportunity to grow and develop my professional skills. He was my international internship director and business mentor. During my time at Koteve, Kristof found projects that forced me outside of my comfort zone and allowed me to build the skills necessary to become a leader in my field. He provided frequent feedback on my work which allowed me to see continuous improvement. He is highly passionate about what he does.
