Career Exploration and Development partners with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers to deliver programming and outreach, make connections, and build networks that create social capital and social mobility. In this career community model, we coordinate a variety of services including career advising, support in identifying and connecting to full-time, part-time, co-op, internship, and student employment opportunities, graduate school preparation, resume and cover letter critiques, practicing interviewing skills, navigating Handshake, preparing for career fairs, and more.
Career Exploration and Development also provides virtual drop-in sessions on a weekly basis to help students and alumni get quick answers to their career-related questions. Each drop-in visit lasts about 10-15 minutes and students and alumni are encouraged to attend multiple sessions throughout a semester.
If you’re looking for a great on-campus department to work for while building important skills including professionalism, leadership, and critical thinking, please consider applying for opportunities with Career Exploration and Development!
