Marketing Intern

September 2019 • San Francisco, CA

What I liked

Easy way to get experience for real-world and for your professional resume.

What I wish was different

Wish the experience was more real marketing, such as number analysis, idea generation, etc. Instead of ground marketing and sales.

Advice

If you don't have experience in your professional field, don't be afriad to work at a start-up. You get to see the overall aspect of how everyday operations work and get to see progress of a company in real-time.

Marketing Intern

October 2019 • Davis, CA

What I liked

Flexible work environment and encouraging staff. I was able to learn how a small start up is able to grow big due to students working to support the needs of the student campus. The job was very goal oriented and informative.

What I wish was different

The business is still a start up company so there isn't a fixed role for the interns. It seems very experimental so I wish there was more of a structured system.
