What I liked

It pays decently and you get hands on resources

Hospital Volunteer

June - August 2018 • Logan, UT

What I liked

Volunteer program is well organized with shifts and time cards. Had an excellent experience and learned a lot working in the operating room. Very helpful and kind people.

What I wish was different

There could have been more for volunteers to do. I spent a fair bit of time waiting for someone to need me while I was on shift.

Advice

Make sure you take initiative to find ways to help on your own without someone with you.

Software Engineering Intern

June 2017 • Murray, UT

What I liked

I learned SO much. Intermountain isn't crazy high pressure but I really felt driven by my coworkers and especially my fellow interns to learn and to reach my best potential

What I wish was different

Some of the hardware we were given as interns wasn't the best, we didn't have cubicles and largely worked in more social working spaces.

Advice

Learn as much as you can! This is a real world job and they are investing in your future, take away as much from it as you can, it will pay off later I promise!
