What I liked
I loved the enthusiasm all the top leaders had when addressing the interns. Their efforts to make the best of the pandemic situation and still provide an internship opportunity showed the company's values. It was a very well thought out program with several interactive activities and opportunities to network.
What I wish was different
Of course, this is out of their control, but to have had more chances to interact with other interns in person, even if that meant being socially distanced.

What I liked
H-E-B is a great company to work for. I had worked for H-E-B before but I got rehired again when I moved to San Antonio to attend UTSA. It is a great company to work for while you are going to school. They are lenient and work around your school schedule. On top of that they care about their employees (partners). Adding to that you can even grow your career at H-E-B. I have nothing but great things to talk about H-E-B it has taught me a lot of valuable things that I apply to my life till this day.

H-E-B treats their employees great and really are about the community. The people are also very friendly and willing to help you out when asked, great working environment.
What I wish was different
The ability to move around while I work. Working in a cubicle was very hard for me and I found that I would constantly have to get up and walk the hallways just to get a mental break and refocus my thoughts.
Advice
Working for H-E-B is a great opportunity to not only learn about the company but what your current capabilities are and what you would like to do career wise.

My employers were always willing to work with my schooling schedule. They were also reliable and understanding. H-E-B also had a good work environment where I was able to feel welcome and could rely on my fellow partners.

I wish I had asked more questionsand tried to be more deeply involved in the business rather than focusing soley on what my position entailed.

I would advise doing your best to oearn as much as possible about your department and anything that may relate to, effect, or involve your position.
