The mission of the Double H Ranch is to provide specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Our purpose is to enrich their lives and provide camp experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound.
Our summer camp program is the cornerstone of what we do at Double H and we need staff and volunteers to make this program happen!
Staff work from the beginning of June until the end of August and are paid between 400-600 dollars per week including room and board. Staff must be willing to put their own needs on the back burner and give all their energy, time, and love to these campers.
Kids stay at camp for 5 days and then our staff have 2.5 days off to relax and make memories with their friends. After that break, we have a whole new group of kids come to camp. Campers are divided up into one of our eight cabins by age and gender. Each cabin has 4-7 staff members that travel with kids from activity to activity and provide daily care for our campers.
