“I was given the opportunity to shadow the managers of each department and learned how to manage a department myself. I enjoyed getting the chance to experience the very work I will be doing when I graduate, this helped me better understand what skills I needed to perfect and different parts of the job that I need to ask about if seeking to work with other companies (EX. My last company gave me directives of how product should be merchandised, does your company do this?). My other job also gave me the opportunity to travel to different locations, I like this because I could see how the same store chain can differ as a result of the store's management. ”
