Software Devoloper

May 2017 • Stevensville, MI

What I liked

The work atmosphere was amazing, everyone is super helpful and always willing to take a break from what they are doing to coach you so that you can perform the task better the next time.

What I wish was different

NOTHING, this was truly an amazing experience, the amount of the events that they involved the interns in was also great, they paid for us to go on a whitewater rafting trip in West Virgina, and to go to the arcade and go Go Karting, we had team softball, team volleyball on the beach, and many other great expierences.

Advice

Always push yourself to learn new thing and take new experiences, I was one of the students that were looking for an internship with a company like Google, Microsoft, or some really big named company, but the company that is close to home, and that has great opportunity to learn new experiences and to move up the chain of command was one that I really enjoyed and may stay at permanently

Electrical Engineering Intern

June - August 2018 • Bridgman, MI

What I liked

I loved learned about the Nuclear plant and how it operates on a more complex scale. As well as the nuclear industry as a whole.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been utilized as an intern by more than one group. I worked in design electrical but I would have loved to also learned about the actual nuclear portion of the plant in the Industrial Nuclear group as well.

Advice

To always ask for help even if its the simplest thing but you just can't seem to get it. People are always will to help the youth in their apartment learn about what they do and they would always lend a helpful hand when I wasn't sure how to perform a task.
