About CommunityRoot

Educating children outside the classroom has become paramount to our society.

The importance of afterschool programs is a topic covered regularly across the country. More afterschool programs are sprouting up everyday and the work they do is of the utmost importance to children and families around the world.

CommunityRoot is a quickly growing edtech startup changing the afterschool education industry. In an industry that has yet to adapt to the “tech revolution”, the majority of afterschool programs use paper-based registration methods and require parents to fill out applications by hand and thus programs must file these applications manually.

Because most afterschool programs still use paper-based registration and must manually enter in all their information, they are limited to the amount of time they can devote to improving and growing their program.

CommunityRoot is changing all of that. Started in 2013, we have created a software for afterschool programs that allows them to automate their registration process. With CommunityRoot, afterschool programs can devote the time they need to improving their program and giving back to the children that so need their help.
