What I liked

I worked for Clover last summer and winter, and got promoted to team leader this summer. Basically that means I could be in charge of a shift at the restaurant/run it by myself. I got a ServSafe certificate and was in charge of opening or closing the restaurant. It felt like I had actual responsibility, and the pay was good. Lots of free vegetarian food too!

What I wish was different

The store wasn't managed super well and as part of a very small leadership team I sometimes had to work very long shifts. In general, I had to worry about/respond to messages about the restaurant on my off time more than I would like.
