I really enjoyed the amazing quality of interest that employees at the establishment put into their duties, and the amalgamation of diversity that was apparent throughout the departments. IT in particular provided whatever resource was needed to help further the success of projects and employee work lives (even to interns).
What I wish was different
If one thing were to be different, I would wish that they had allowed more duties and roles to the interns at hand, sometimes the internship lacked the structural freedom that we as new learners need to grow.
Advice
Big advice for any student coming into the company is to be willing to leave your safe space and venture out to meet other departments. IT works within their micro system, but to truly grasp the full ramifications of this internship (or really any), is to understand the flow of information that occurs within such an office setting like C-Tran.
