I loved the atmosphere of Cinemark and how friendly my coworkers were. Everyone was committed to providing the best possible experience for customers while we also had fun.

What I wish was different

I do wish some of our managers were a little more organized as they often were not as attentive as I hoped.

Advice

I think the best piece of advice is to not get overwhelmed or too stressed by these jobs as the customers are usually kind and understanding.

Have thick skin, it gets rough and overwhelming sometimes. With all customer service jobs working with the public is rocky, but this particular location takes the cake. The customers are one of the worst things about this place, besides how the managers, and general manager treat their employees.

What I liked

I really like the flexible hours they offer. Going to school full time makes it hard to work full time, but here i was able to do just that even if it means cutting sleep hours.

What I wish was different

There is not anything i wish could be different. A job is meant to be tough and even if i got tired or irritated, it is what having a job means.

Advice

My advice would be to make the most out of every day and take the experience as a growing and learning experience.

I wish I hadn't had to work late so often, and I wish I'd had more time to work on homework for my summer classes

Advice

If you're starting a new job and are in classes at the same time start the work slowly so you know how much you can handle without it affecting your work, and if it gets to be too much speak up and ask for fewer hours
