I really enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to get real experience to cover stories on the ground and that were interesting to me. I also appreciated being pushed to cover things which may have not always been interesting to me.
What I wish was different
Not much. They really helped put and worked around your schedule to get the requirements of the internship completed.
Advice
Be prepared to be pushed to get better at covering different topics. Be open minded to considering other people’s ideas because different perspectives are very helpful when covering topics, especially if you are unfamiliar with them.
