Brainstorm Inc

Intern

March - October 2019 • American Fork, UT

What I liked

The culture and environment at BrainStorm was awesome. I grew close to other interns and employees. Work hours are VERY flexible and relaxed.

What I wish was different

More structure for the intern program. The quality of the experience is dependent on how much work your manager gives you and what he/she trusts you to do. I . felt that there wasn't enough for me to do and I didn't get as much hands on experience as I had hoped.

Advice

Great place to do an internship during the school year. Flexible with schedule and pretty good pay.

What I liked

I love the company and their goals. They have a really cool product and a really good way of thinking about it. I love the culture and the people there too.

What I wish was different

My friend quit, I wish he’d have stayed.

Advice

The work is often fast paced but there is a lot of room for fun in the culture here as well. Work hard, play hard.

Operations Intern

May - August 2017 • Salt Lake City, UT

What I liked

This company was nothing short of a phenomenal internship. The company has won numerous awards for culture, cutting edge technology, and creativity. I enjoyed coming to work everyday and was given actual and tangible internship experience. In addition, everyone I worked with everyday was kind, inclusive and always had a smile on their face. They were patient and taught me skills I will utilize in the future at my next job.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have stayed for a longer period.

Advice

A piece of advice I would share is to get included in the culture right away. Go out to lunch, play lunchtime volleyball, and participate in in-office activities.
